Taikun Pan Asian Restaurant & Lounge officially reopens its revamped doors today, inviting guests to experience new and enhanced dining to nightlife experience.
Having undergone a subtle refurbishment during its temporary closure, Taikun’s layout, décor, and offers have been elevated, seeing the outlet reposition itself as a dine and dance venue, with dinner shows set to launch by year-end.
Guests can expect to enjoy vivid Pan Asian flavors accompanied by an upbeat atmosphere that transforms into a playground for the nocturnal as the night goes on.
Under the culinary direction of Lincoln Hospitality’s Group Executive Chef Brian Voelzing, the menu has been curated to showcase quality ingredients and impactful Pan Asian flavors inspired by multiple traditions. Offering a veritable feast of Asian cuisine, the menu includes an exciting variety of sushi, wok dishes, and traditional street food that are sure to entice.
Highlights include raw dishes such as beef tenderloin tataki with onion ponzu, pickled radish, and roasted garlic, and seabass ceviche with mango, yuzu, pomegranate, and celery, followed by sushi platters including spicy tuna, prawn tempura, Chuka wakame, wagyu with fresh truffle, and more. From the wok, find options like chicken cashew, and Malay beef with shitake mushrooms, while the robata grills flavour-packed servings of miso black cod, avocado teriyaki and yuzu chimichurri striploin, plus others.
Bringing dinner to a close, the dessert selection offers temping choices such as assorted mochi, Thai coconut mango, yuzu panna cotta, chocolate fondant and more.
Designed with three experiences in mind, Taikun now houses a restaurant, a high-energy lounge & bar, an al fresco terrace. On the weekly agenda, visitors can enjoy live entertainment by resident DJ on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, ladies’ night every Tuesday from 7pm (launching September 1, 2020), and weekend brunches. With beautiful, luscious interiors, delicious food and a fun atmosphere, Taikun is the perfect spot to enjoy a night out with friends.
Taikun Restaurant & Lounge is located at Vida Downtown, Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, Downtown Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is open daily from 7pm – 3am. It is recommended that reservations are made in advance.
Vida Downtown is currently closed and guests must enter Taikun from the Boulevard, where valet is offered exclusively for Taikun customers.
