“Ambition is the key to the will to pursue our dreams”, stated Dr. Ossama Al-Asmar, a German businessman when we began our conversation with him about his professional ambitions in Dubai.
Dr. Ossama Al-Asmar not only achieved his ambition of studying medicine and specializing in neurosurgery but also aspires to share his knowledge and success story with others. He hopes to inspire those who may not have had the same opportunities in their educational journey, especially those who may have faced challenges.
When asked about the reason for our meeting with him, he stated, “I always wished for a mentor in my life, particularly when I moved to Germany for my studies. There were many who taught me and left an impact on me; however, there was no one to serve as a role model for me.”
Dr. Ossama believes that the advice given by individuals who have achieved success in both their professional and social lives is valuable. He stated, “We often see and hear about individuals who refer to themselves as ‘Life Coaches’ and provide advice and interactive conversations, but they do not apply what they say to their own lives. To truly become influential in the lives of others, one must be successful and be able to share their success stories in detail, so that others can benefit from it.”
Dr. Ossama Al-Asmar owns multiple companies in Dubai that specialize in various services such as company formation and real estate brokerage. He is currently developing a comprehensive plan to expand further and specifically provide services to the German community in the United Arab Emirates, aligning with the vision of Smart Dubai. He believes that Smart Dubai is a prime example in the service industry, as it promotes sustainability among the companies he owns or is a founding partner in, to ensure the provision of high-quality services that are subject to control and quality assurance. The plan also includes addressing practical challenges that may arise for new European investors in the country. Lastly, Dr. Ossama is striving to digitize the services he offers, including contracts, communication, and payment methods, in line with the vision of Smart Dubai.
