Dr. ImanFathi El Sayed, Dermatologist &Venereologist Laser Skincare Specialist in Dubai spoke to the attendees about the Science of Sensitive skin with Cetaphil. “Skin sensitivity is described as a skin condition, rather than a skin type. Your skin can become sensitive due to a variety of reasons, including allergies, extremely hot or cold temperatures, excessive exfoliation that damages the skin barrier.” Dr. Iman also explained that having sensitive skin can be a persistent problem, especially when not taken care of. However, if you improve your skincare routine and use products that are suitable for your skin, the condition can be easily managed.

It is best to consult your dermatologist about the products that are best suited for your skin.

Mr. James Michael Lafferty, CEO of Fine Hygienic Holding shared two health tips that most of us didn’t know specifically at this current situation that we are facing right now.

A health talk was conducted related to the Management of Fibroids by Dr. Elias Abi Khalil, Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Clemenceau Medical Center. Fibroids are the most common benign tumors in women. They may be single or multiple and their size also varies. By age 50 nearly 70% of white women and more than 80% of black women have had at least one fibroid. Dr. Elias explained that the only way to treat Fibroids is with medicine or surgery. However, it can be prevented by eating fresh fruits and vegetables, always check your blood pressure and manage your stress level. Avoid eating processed foods, red meat, high-fat dairy and don’t smoke.

Dr. Ramez Karam from the  Central Circle Company spoke about the problems and solutions of Hair Loss. We think of hair loss as a common problem in men, but now also for women. Fewer than 45% of women go through this problem. Women who experience hair loss often experience psychological distress and impaired social functioning as a result of it. Dr. Ramez explained that there are some treatments that may even help stimulate the growth of new hair. You have to see your dermatologist if you are experiencing hair loss. Stopping hair loss in women is possible depending on the cause and how soon the problem is identified. Early treatment may slow or reverse hair loss in women.

An exciting healthy live cooking sessions demonstrated along with various activities such as dance and yoga workshops, raffles, entertainment and other fun activities that were enjoyed by the whole crowd.
