Continuing Ferragamo\u2019s heritage of innovation, the <strong>Viva<\/strong> <strong>Bow <\/strong>bag updates the design language of our past to articulate it for the future. The result is a design both timeless and of its time: a contemporary classic.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7221\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dubaimagazine.net\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Red-High-Res-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The <strong>Viva Bow <\/strong>bag is born from the success of the Viva shoe, which came into the world in 2019. Like the <strong>Viva Bow<\/strong> bag, that shoe was designed by Creative Director Paul Andrew to reflect the aesthetic lineage of the house by referencing the classic Vara, which was created by Fiamma Ferragamo and launched in 1979.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The <strong>Viva Bow<\/strong> bag is designed both to complement and elevate the Viva shoe, and shares the key decorative motif of a modernised update of Vara\u2019s iconic grosgrain bow. That bow is presented in lightly padded soft nappa leather with a lacquered clasp both coloured to match the body of the bag, and serves to mark the magnetic closure position of the bag as well as echo the family ties of Ferragamo\u2019s design heritage.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Presented initially in two sizes, the <strong>Viva Bow<\/strong> bag features two roomy compartments. It features a detachable, matching leather strap edged with a tonal painted metal chain that allows the Viva to be worn from the shoulder, cross-body, low from the hand, or as a clutch. While geometrically distinct, the bag\u2019s fabrication in softly cut leathers featuring same-colour stitching &#8211; as well as that same-colour bow &#8211; transmits a subtle and modern informality.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Paul Andrew said: \u201cThe <strong>Viva Bow<\/strong> bag is the latest addition to a new generation of Ferragamo design that forwards our house\u2019s storied heritage of innovation. As with the Viva shoe, our starting point was the realisation that while each new generation is distinct, individual and shaped by its time, every new generation also begins in a context created by that which came before it.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The bow is a motif that ties Ferragamo to its past, gives context to its present, and offers infinite opportunities to be explored in the future. I\u2019m excited to see how our Ferragamo family will play the already well-received Viva shoe against the <strong>Viva Bow<\/strong> bag &#8211; whether matching, complementary or contrasting, the choice of colour and fabrication combinations that can be played between the two categories is kaleidoscopically broad.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Like its older sister the Viva shoe, the new <strong>Viva<\/strong> <strong>Bow<\/strong> bag is an encapsulation of Ferragamo\u2019s future, one that is inclusive, dynamic and progressive.
