Emma Hamsa launches The First Light, a debut collection of Extrait de Parfum shaped by memory, family legacy, and a skin-centric approach to modern perfumery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded by entrepreneur and Creative Director, Emma Hamsa, this new fragrance collection was developed for over a year in collaboration with an established French fragrance house. The process brought a deliberate, craft led approach to the brands first release, from formulation through to final design, with a focus on restraint, balance and longevity. Rooted in a belief that scent has the power to preserve connection and express oneself without words, each Extrait de Parfum is designed to sit close to the skin, unfolding softly throughout the day and becoming part of the wearer\u2019s personal rhythm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The debut collection comprises three fragrances \u2014 Milk of Light, Desire Skin, and Eternal Horizon<\/strong> \u2014 each inspired by the three formative family figures who shaped Emma\u2019s emotional world, translating connection, presence, and memory into scent. Milk of Light, inspired by her mother, embodies softness and reassurance, offering a sense of comfort and quiet strength. Desire Skin, inspired by her grandmother, reflects a bond defined by closeness, guidance, and emotional depth, expressed through intimacy and subtle intensity. Eternal Horizon, dedicated to her father, evokes a steady sense of protection and calm endurance, like a constant presence on the horizon. Together, the trio forms a cohesive fragrance wardrobe, intended to be worn individually or layered, allowing for personal interpretation and connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEmma Hamsa was never about creating fragrance for impact or trend,\u201d says Emma Hamsa, Founder and Creative Director<\/strong>. \u201cIt is about translating emotion into scent. These fragrances are meant to be worn quietly, lived in, and felt rather than announced.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Positioned within the niche luxury fragrance category, Emma Hamsa prioritises emotional authenticity, craftsmanship, and storytelling over formula or hype. Rather than focusing on a single hero ingredient, each Extrait de Parfum is composed using high-quality raw materials and balanced structures, with musky, milky, woody, and mineral accords that feel intimate and comforting rather than overpowering. The collection is intentionally gender-inclusive in spirit, offering two unisex fragrances alongside one feminine composition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Priced at AED 750 (50 ml<\/strong>), The First Light represents a softer, more human interpretation of contemporary luxury. The cruelty-free formulations are produced to international standards, and the brand remains intentionally intimate in scale, with plans for selective expansion through curated concept stores and pop-ups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pre-orders open on 16 January, with the collection available to purchase from 1 February.
